Tacoma General Hospital
The Center’s Tacoma General Hospital facility revolves around four state-of-the-art digital catheterization
laboratories. Each is fully equipped with the latest technology, one of the labs even has the dedicated equipment required to care for younger patients, for use by the pediatric heart specialists at Mary Bridge Children's Hospital.The large size of the suites allows larger care teams to be present during delicate procedures, and provides room to expand as future technologies are developed. These suites are directly adjacent to the cardiovascular surgery suites, which provides extra protection in the event of unforeseen complications.
The facility also has a short-stay cardiac unit, which provides a convenient, comfortable environment for patients requiring observation or monitoring.
Good Samaritan Hospital
With its cardiac catheterization laboratory, Good Samaritan Hospital provides state-of-the-art care to adult patients who have cardiovascular, electrophysiological and vascular illnesses.The cardiac catheterization lab makes it more convenient for eastern Pierce County residents with some cardiovascular diseases to receive the majority of their care closer to home.
Good Samaritan‘s cardiac catheterization lab performs both diagnostic procedures and emergency interventional procedures. The cardiac catheterization lab enables Good Samaritan‘s medical staff to fully treat most heart attack victims.
Allenmore Hospital
Patients brought to the Allenmore Emergency Department benefit from MultiCare’s chest pain protocol, which dramatically shortens the time to treatment. The intensive and immediate care units are specially equipped and staffed to care for cardiac patients.Allenmore also offers diagnostic services such as EKG, stress testing, Holter monitoring and echocardiography.
Covington MultiCare Clinic
MultiCare Heart Center at the Covington MultiCare Clinic provides convenient diagnostic services for South King County residents. Available services include EKG, stress testing, Holter monitoring, echocardiography and nuclear medicine studies.Coming November 2008
