MultiCare's Information Services team keeps our data systems running smoothly and ensures the security of sensitive information, including patient records. In 2014, MultiCare was named by Hospitals & Health Networks magazine as one of the nation's Most Wired health care organizations for the sixth year in a row. We were also named one of the top 5 Hospital IT Departments by Healthcare IT News in October, 2014.
MultiCare has been at the forefront of electronic health record technology since 1998, when we implemented MultiCare Connect. The system links all the system's hospitals and outpatient clinics.
"MultiCare's electronic health record is a key component in providing the most efficient patient care for the communities we serve. We are proud of the work we have done during the last decade to create a complete electronic health record for our patients."
-Florence Chang, MultiCare Executive Vice President
