This group includes the Help Desk (Call Center), Desktop Support and Quality Assurance teams. Coverage is required 24x7. Typical calls include "break/fix" requests, system outages and status requests. Issues can range from a bad mouse all the way to total system replacement or upgrade.
This team provides data, application, interface and network support across our health system. Teams include Database Management, LAN Administration, Interface Development/Support, and Administrative Systems support (Lawson team).
Our analysts support data and voice services, pagers, cell phones, PBX operations and Information Security.
The Computer Operations team monitors systems and provides support for report distribution, daily maintenance activities, and our web development team.
Our Information Security specialists help MultiCare protect its information assets, while supporting the organization's broad access requirements.
This group supports our clinical information system including LastWord, Epic, Centricity, and many ancillary services such as Lab, Radiology and Pharmacy.
The Acute Care Systems Support Team provides systems, application, and project support for clinical services throughout MultiCare.
The primary clinical information system, IDX LastWord is comprised of many different modules providing customizable software solutions designed to promote a seamless flow of health care information.
