White Coat Society

The White Coat Society is Good Samaritan Foundation’s annual giving club. Each year, more than 200 members make gifts of $1,000 or more to support Good Samaritan programs and services*. Donors can designate the program to which their gift is directed or make gifts to the Areas of Greatest Need. Gifts made to the Areas of Greatest Need at Good Samaritan are allocated by the Board of Trustees biannually.

Membership levels:
General Membership - gifts of $1,000 - $2,499
Silver Stethoscope - gifts of $2,500 - $4,999
Golden Stethoscope - gifts of $5,000 or more

Benefits:

• White lab coat embroidered with the Good Samaritan Foundation logo and your name
• Special invitations to educational forums and events
• VIP parking at select Good Samaritan events
• Recognition in foundation publications
• Coupon for a free medical screening

*Event tickets or purchases do not qualify for membership.

Legacy Society

Legacy Society members are individuals, couples and families that have made provisions for Good Samaritan in their estate plans and have notified us of their intent. If you have remembered Good Samaritan in your estate plan, we would like to honor your support and extend to you membership in the Legacy Society. And, if you haven’t yet arranged for a planned gift, we welcome the opportunity to provide information or answer any questions you may have.

Bishop’s Circle

Named for Bishop David Wold, current Chair of the MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital Board, and Good Samaritan Foundation Trustee, Bishop’s Circle celebrates the legacy of philanthropy Bishop and his wife Elisabeth promote.

With cumulative lifetime gifts totaling $10,000 or more, donors qualify for membership in Bishop’s Circle and enjoy the following benefits:

• Discounts to a variety of Good Samaritan Hospital (GSH) retail outlets, including Gift Shop, Starbucks, Café Sam
• Special inpatient recognition at GSH if you or a family members is hospitalized
• Designated parking on the hospital campus
• Complimentary memberships in several Good Samaritan programs
• Recognition on the donor wall in the new patient care tower lobby (March 2011 completion)
