Focus on Healing Through Movement and Dance for Breast Cancer Survivors

This program helps women regain and maintain range of motion after surgery, decreases the risk of lymphedema and helps reduce the risk of frozen shoulder. Focus on Healing is a program of exercise specifically designed to meet the rehabilitation needs of breast cancer survivors. This creative, therapeutic program gives breast cancer survivors the experience of total body movement and eases their adjustment to a new body image. Years after surgery, it helps to prevent loss of range of motion and reduce the risk of lymphedema. Designed for all ages and fitness levels, this exercise program is fun, easy and emotionally uplifting. It was developed by two physicians, a dance/movement specialist and breast cancer survivor. CONSULT YOUR PHYSICIAN BEFORE STARTING AN EXERCISE CLASS. Maximum class size is 18 people.

“THE LEBED METHOD”® Movement and dance therapy for breast cancer survivors and others with chronic conditions An effective therapeutic program of exercise and movement for breast cancer survivors, seniors, and those battling chronic health conditions such as: other cancers, fibromyalgia syndrome, rheumatoid conditions, chronic fatigue, etc.
