MultiCare Do Something Healthy Event Being Held Thursday, Jan. 28
MultiCare's Center For Healthy Living has announced its series of Do Something Healthy lectures for 2010. The first lecture, titled "Sensible Weight Loss 101: Losing It in the New Year," will be held Thursday, Jan. 28, at 7pm at Jackson Hall. Doors open at 6pm.
Taught by a MultiCare registered dietitian, the event is an opportunity to learn how to lose weight through healthy lifestyle changes. We will take a closer look at reasons and myths for why we are overweight and how to overcome them.
Participants can come early to have their body mass index measurement calculated by our BioMeasure machine.
The cost to attend is $5. To register, call 800-485-0205 or go to piercecountygetsfit.org. For more information, and to see this year's full schedule of Do Something Health events, click here.
