'Untold Stories of the E.R.' to feature Good Samaritan Hospital
A new episode of “Untold Stories of the E.R.” featuring MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital will be on TV twice this month.
The episode, titled “Deep Trouble,” is set to air on the Discovery Fit & Health channel at 10 p.m . Dec. 20, then will reach a larger audience on TLC at 9 p.m. Dec. 28. (The TLC air date changed from the previously scheduled Jan. 11).
The story is about a physician who helps diagnose his own illness.
The Vancouver, B.C.-based TV crew filmed in July outside of Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup, Wash., including shots of a Central Pierce Fire & Rescue ambulance.
For the TV show, the crew filmed the ambulance outside the main pedestrian entrance to Good Samaritan's Emergency Department, because it made for better shots than the ambulance bay on the side of the hospital.
