Adult Service Descriptions

Counseling – Talk therapy that occurs in one-on-one sessions. Focus will be on education, recovery and improving wellness. Counselors assist individuals in defining personal goals and teaching the life skills necessary to achieve those goals. Therapy is a client driven process. One of the expectations of therapy is that change is a necessary part of healing. Counselors help guide and support clients in their journey toward change. Medication services may be offered in conjunction with counseling. Referrals to medication services can be made at your counselor’s discretion.

Case management
– Case management services are dependent on level of need. For some clients this may include learning to meet basic needs including food, shelter and clothing. For other clients case management may include referrals to community supports and providers.

Peer Services – Peers are individuals who have an identified mental illness and are in recovery. They are trained to assist others in their journey. Peers have a unique perspective to share as they have been in the mental health system and can be a valuable guide navigating the challenges you may experience. Peer support services can include case management, group therapy supports, advocacy and support/encouragement.

Group Therapy
– There are various groups offered throughout the year. Past groups have included Women’s PTSD groups, Domestic Violence groups, Boundaries and Assertiveness, Job Club, Anger Management, Bowling Group, Newsletter Group, and Hands on Health to name a few. Clients may speak to their therapist if they are interested in attending a group.

Employment Services – Working in conjunction with the Department of Vocational Rehabilitation our services may include supported job training, resume development, interviewing skills, and skills needed to join or return to the work force.

Crisis Services – During business hours our clinicians provide crisis services to enrolled clients. Non-enrolled individuals or clients needing after-hours crisis services may contact the crisis team at 800-576-7764. Another available service in the community is the Warm Line which is used for non-emergent support and can be accessed Monday-Friday from 3pm – 11pm. Their number is 1-877-780-5222.

Mobile Integrated Health
– Onsite medical treatment for clients that need additional encouragement and support to address their chronic medical issues. Referrals are made at your counselor’s discretion.

Special events throughout the year vary, but have included a client holiday party, an arts and crafts bazaar, and talent show.
