Good Samaritan Hospital

Good Samaritan Hospital, located in central Puyallup, is an independent, not-for-profit 225-bed acute care facility fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). The hospital’s medical staff includes 300 of the region’s most respected physicians and specialists who provide a full range of medical care ranging from emergency medicine to highly technical surgical services.

The hospital is recognized for a variety of services including a Level III Trauma Center, a cancer care program fully accredited by the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons, nationally recognized rehabilitation center, new Family Birth Center, Orthopedics Program rated in the top five percent of the nation, and many others.

Good Samaritan also offers several specialty services such as the Sleep Medicine Center, the Children’s Therapy Unit for children with neuromuscular disabilities, and the Good Samaritan Surgery Center Interventional Pain Management Clinic.

Dr. Richard C. Ostenson Cancer Center at Good Samaritan

The Dr. Richard C. Ostenson Cancer Center at Good Samaritan is leading the way for regional cancer care by providing advanced diagnostics, including the only combined PET/CT scanner between Seattle and Portland, advanced treatment options, advanced research, nationally recognized physicians and support services for the whole family. By combining Good Samaritan outpatient cancer care and diagnostic imaging, Rainier Oncology and Tacoma/Valley Radiation Oncology in one beautifully designed building, patients can have comprehensive care close to home. The Good Samaritan Cancer Care Program is fully approved by the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons.

Good Samaritan Surgery Center

This newly renovated outpatient surgery center is located on the Good Samaritan campus. board-certified surgeons use arthroscopic, laproscopic, endoscopic and general open techniques to perform a range of outpatient procedures including orthopedic, gynecological and general surgeries. The Good Samaritan Surgery Center is fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).

Good Samaritan Home Health and Hospice

Good Samaritan Home Health and Hospice is the state’s first hospital-based home care agency now celebrating 30 years of service. The agency provides a range of individualized services to homebound patients and hospice care to terminally ill patients. Good Samaritan Community Services

Good Samaritan Community Services is the largest comprehensive collection of social service programs for pre-infancy through end of life in Washington. The organization is dedicated to supporting community members who turn to us for help through mental health, social support and outreach services. Programs include Puyallup Valley Institute, Crisis Services, Asian Counseling Services, Older adult services and others.
