There’s hardly a person or family unaffected by a chronic condition or who doesn’t know someone who is. Heart failure, high cholesterol, diabetes, and a need for blood checks while on medications like Coumadin®, are all becoming increasingly familiar conditions.
To better serve our patients and their families with these conditions, Good Samaritan combines the various health management programs and educational resources into one location. For more information, please call 253-697-2801.
This clinic is to help people on anticoagulation (blood thinning) medications manage their treatment to prevent blood clots. This clinic is by physician referral only.
For questions call 253-697-2801, on Mondays through Friday.
You may also fax your questions to 253-770-5175.
The Good Samaritan Diabetes Education Center offers a variety of classes and counseling for children and adults diagnosed with diabetes.
For women with gestational diabetes, we provide special classes to help support and manage their health during pregnancy.
Our registered dietitians can take the guesswork out of nutrition and tailor a program to meet your current eating habits, lifestyle and nutritional needs...even in the face of tough medical conditions, a need to lose or gain weight, or during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
We also offer classes for heart-healthy eating and weight control.
