About Us

You Make the Difference!

Community support has always been the cornerstone of Mary Bridge Children's Hospital & Health Center. The Mary Bridge Children's Foundation was established in 1986 to help Mary Bridge Children's Hospital & Health Center meet increasing demands for charitable gifts to support the needs of children and families in our community. The Foundation's mission is to raise funds and community awareness for Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital and Health Center, and to assist the hospital in achieving its mission of providing care for all children, regardless of a family’s ability to pay.

While Mary Bridge Children's Hospital & Health Center is part of MultiCare Health System, it is expected to maintain itself as a separate entity. Mary Bridge Children's Hospital & Health Center receives its philanthropic support through gifts made to the Mary Bridge Children’s Foundation and through several special events like the Festival of Trees and the Courage Classic.

Every year the Foundation must make difficult decisions among numerous requests from throughout Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital and Health Center—requests that always significantly exceed available dollars.
