Ambulatory Treatment Unit
Good Samaritan Hospital provides an Ambulatory Treatment Unit where patients receive outpatient services at the hospital facility.
Services provided at the Ambulatory Treatment Unit include blood transfusions, antibiotic therapies, medication infusions, injections, wound dressing changes, recovery from special radiology procedures, and other care requiring skilled nursing. The unit provides a smaller, more relaxed atmosphere for patients to receive these treatments, recover, or to remain under observation.
At times, the Ambulatory Treatment Unit is used to care for patients who come to the Emergency Department and require admission to the hospital as well as surgery patients who need to remain in the hospital following surgery.
To contact the Ambulatory Treatment Unit, call 253-697-4210.
