Birthing Suites

MultiCare’s Family Birth Centers at Good Samaritan Hospital (253) 697-5300, and Tacoma General Hospital are committed to making your birth experience a positive one.

Birthing suites are roomy and spacious, offering comfortable space for you, your partner and visitors. Our birthing suites offer a soothing environment, and come fully equipped with TV, music and sound system, as well as your own Jacuzzi tub.

Private post-delivery rooms include overnight sleeping accommodations for you, your newborn, and support partner. Rooms are equipped with a mini-refrigerator you can stock with your favorite snacks, and an entertainment center with TV and DVD/VCR.

Personal Attention from a nurse dedicated to you and your needs throughout your entire delivery. Your nurse will answer questions, help you stay comfortable and provide support and encouragement.
