"Take Charge" Diabetes Education Series

Designed for adults with type 2 Diabetes, this 4 week class (2 hours each per session) is offered monthly in Tacoma and Covington. Daytime and evening classes are available.

Here are just a few of the subjects that are covered.

  • Healthy meal planning
  • Self-monitoring of blood glucose
  • Diabetes medication
  • Exercise safety
  • Prevention of long-term complications
  • Research updates
