Awhonn Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Course

Two-day workshop (didactic and skills stations) focusing on the application of essential fetal heart monitoring knowledge and skills in acute-care, intrapartum nursing practice.

Designed for registered nurses with a minimum of six months of clinical nursing experience using fetal heart monitoring technology in an intrapartum setting (labor and delivery; antepartum). Course purpose: to promote integration of knowledge and skills essential to nursing assessment, promotion and evaluation of fetal well-being during labor. CE Credit: 18.3 nursing contact hours/15.25 contact hours of CME.

WHEN TO ATTEND:
After completing 6 months of intrapartum clinical experience using fetal heart monitoring technology in labor & delivery or antepartum nursing unit.
