Building strong communities
This spring MultiCare announced our plans to purchase Auburn Regional Medical Center. The process and purchase was completed on October 1, 2012.
We hope that you’re as excited about this news as we are for the new MultiCare Auburn Medical Center to be a part of the community.
Auburn Regional Medical Center has served the community since 1921. And MultiCare’s first clinic in Auburn has a local history dating back to 1949.
Today MultiCare has primary care, specialty care and urgent care clinics to serve you in Auburn, Kent, Covington and Maple Valley — as well as Covington’s first Emergency Department at MultiCare Covington Medical Center.
Our dedication to the health of this community is strong. And we can’t wait to make it even stronger.
Recently, we announced that David Nicewonger, longtime Administrator of the MultiCare Regional Cancer Center, would become the Chief Operating Officer of MultiCare Auburn Medical Center when MultiCare completes the purchase of the hospital and facility assets of Auburn Regional Medical Center on Oct. 1. This will be the top leadership role at the hospital.
