Construction Timeline

MultiCare Covington Clinic currently offers primary and specialty physician services, laboratory, complex imaging, urgent care and an ambulatory surgery center with five overnight beds. This building will remain a vibrant outpatient medical center as it is integrated with the newly proposed inpatient services.

MultiCare Covington Medical Center Timeline

• Spring 2011 - Construction begaon on the freestanding emergency department
  
• Fall 2011 - Detailed planning for the new hospital will begin
  
• Spring 2012 - New 24-hour freestanding emergency department will open to the public
  
• 2013 - Anticipate beginning construction of the hosptial, with the goal of completing the project within two to four years as is typical with a construction project of this magnitude
