Directing Your Gift
Good Samaritan has a number of outlets where your gift can make a difference.
Commonly supported programs and service areas at Good Samaritan include:
- Areas of Greatest Need
- Breast Health Programs
- Capital Equipment
- Cardiac Care
- Children’s Therapy Unit
- Community Outreach / Behavioral Health
- Family Birth Center
- Home Health & Hospice
- Oncology
- Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
- The Campaign for Good Samaritan Hospital
Gifts that are not designated to a specific program or service, like those listed above, are applied to the Areas of Greatest Need at Good Samaritan. The Areas of Greatest Need funds are distributed biannually by the Foundation’s Board of Trustees. The Trustees hear requests from Good Samaritan departments and programs and make granting decisions based on where they feel the need is greatest and the impact most powerful.
Children’s Therapy Unit (CTU) Paver Program – Help CTU fulfill its mission to empower children with special needs and their families discover their possibilities by purchasing a paver to be placed on the pathway in front of the CTU building. Each 8x8 paver can be engraved with up to 3 lines of your own special message.
Family Birth Stars – Celebrate the joyful arrival of a new little one or commemorate a special birthday by purchasing a Birth Star. The wall of stars in the Family Birth Center showcases the ever-growing number of babies born at Good Samaritan. Your purchase will support the programs and services of the Family Birth Center, which guarantees quality care in excellent facilities for all families regardless of their ability to pay.
