Tacoma General Hospital Tacoma General Hospital provides 24 hour emergency and trauma care (every other day) for adults. Tacoma General Hospital and St. Joseph Medical Center have been jointly designated as adult level 2 trauma facilities. They rotate receiving trauma patients daily.
