Cherie Reeves Sperr
Recently entered the world of professional emceeing, Cherie Reeves Sperr is a nonprofit consultant and dedicated community advocate. She has spent time on stage in several productions and has served as an emcee for numerous events including Snowgrass, the Port Angeles Race for the Cure, and Midnight in Paris.
However, she’s also been a noted speaker featured at such events as the IXth International Conference on AIDS, the Native Women and Men’s Wellness IV Conference, AIDS, Medicine & Miracles, the NY State Department of Health AIDS Institute, the 10th Annual Women’s Wellness Luncheon (Swedish Medical Center Foundation), the 2006 Surgeon General’s Obesity Action Forum, International Women’s Day, the HIV Prevention Project Annual Technical Support Conference and many more.
Her presentations range from big & small fundraisers to scientific conferences to radio shows, service clubs, and specific and small groups such as Camp Fire and Girl Scout troops.
While Cherie’s enthusiastic style is fun and upbeat, what makes Cherie unique is her lengthy tenure as a nonprofit administrator, employee, consultant and volunteer. She’s been right where her clients are. She’s attended meetings to discuss the possibility of an auction. She’s had the nerves and worry over auction procurement. She’s worried about a lack of volunteers. But, she’s done it successfully and she’s ready to help you do it too.
Cherie shares her days with her husband and tween daughter.
