Our Facilities

Mary Bridge Children’s Health Center –the Mary Bridge Children’s Health Center expansion openHealth Center Night Sideed in March of 2005 to help us meet the specific medical needs of children for future generations. Under one roof, the child-friendly center houses all the support services patients and their families need, including more than two dozen pediatric outpatient specialty clinics. The 60,000-square-foot facility provides one-stop service for children who need care for conditions such as diabetes, cancer, heart problems and asthma.

Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital Safe and Sound Building – Many of the community service and support programs provided by Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital are located in one central area: our Safe and Sound building. Programs offered in this facility include the Sexual Assault Intervention Program, Physical Assault Intervention Program, Child Abuse Prevention Program: Parenting Partnership, Child Abuse Intervention Team, Foster Care Assessment Program, The Children’s Advocacy Center of Pierce County and the Childhood Safety Program.

Inpatient Playroom – Through the generosity of the Viafore Family and the Starlight Children’s Foundation, the playroom helps ill children and their families through difficult times by providing them fun, entertainment and support. Every year, donors in the community make gifts to purchase DVDs, board games, toys and art supplies to sustain and improve the quality of life and experience for the children and their families who visit Mary Bridge.

The Art Cart - Through The Dale and Susan Russell-Hall Art for the Heart Endowment fund and other generous donations, art supplies and materials are purchased for the Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital Art Cart. The Art Cart offers the opportunity to integrate art as part of the healing process for the patient and their family. This program promotes original works of art and hands-on design by the patients of Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital.

The Bayrakci Family Resource Room – The Bayrakci Family Resource Center was created as a place for families to find information on specific illnesses, conditions, and various health issues such as growth and development, parenting, grief and loss, nutrition, and safety. The Center has grown to include over 1,000 books, pamphlets, and reference materials focusing on health information for children.
