Flu Shot Locations

This flu season the Center for Disease Control (CDC) recommends that everyone 6 months and older get a flu vaccine. CDC's Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) voted for "universal" flu vaccination in the U.S. to expand protection against the flu to more people."

About the Vaccine

The flu vaccine for the 2010-2011 season will protect against three different flu viruses in one dose: an H3N2 virus, an influenza B virus and the H1N1 virus that caused so much illness last season.

MultiCare Health System now is offering flu vaccines to patients at clinics in King and Pierce counties.
