Gig Harbor Ambulatory Surgery Center
Opens January 2009
MultiCare Health System will soon open a new ambulatory surgery center at the MultiCare Gig Harbor Medical Park on Point Fosdick Drive in the Uptown Gig Harbor Shopping Center. The Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) will initially be open several days weekly expanding hours as patient volume increases. Positions will be 24 hours per week with full-time benefits.
The ambulatory surgery center will open in January 2009 and will provide a broad array of surgical services that do not require a hospital stay, including orthopedics, urology, gynecology, podiatry and ear, nose and throat. Services also include general surgical procedures such as mass and cyst removal, biopsies and hernia repair.
Positions in the ASC include:
- Staff RN – OR
- Staff RN – PACU
- Surgical Tech
