In-Patient Medicine

MultiCare Inpatient Specialists (MIS) have been enthusiastic supporters of clinical research since the program began. The Hospitalist team has conducted clinical studies in such diverse therapeutic areas as:

• Pyelonephritis
• Acute stroke
• Treatment of Acute Deep Venous Thrombosis and Pulmonary Emboli
• Pneumonia
• Skin Infections
• Clostridium difficile Infections
• Deep Venous Thrombosis Prevention

The MultiCare Inpatient Service Principal Investigators include:
