Minimally Invasive Knee Surgery
MultiCare has orthopedic surgeons and care teams that specialize in diagnosing and treating knee injuries and conditions. Our orthopedic surgeons perform minimally invasive knee surgery including knee arthroscopy and small incision unicompartment knee replacements, at our Surgical Care Center at Tacoma General Hospital, the Surgery Center at Good Samaritan Hospital and at Allenmore Hospital.
This technique involves the same steps as traditional surgery, except it uses a much smaller incision. It also offers a number of other patient benefits including shorter hospital stays, quicker recovery times, reduced post-operative pain, and reduced risk of complications.
