MultiCare East Pierce Family Medicine provides health care services for every generation. We provide preventative care, treat acute or chronic problems, perform complex procedures and provide care for pregnant women, newborns, children, and adults.
We provide primary care for most common health problems as well as perform basic office procedures. For problems where surgery or specialty care is needed, our referral staff will assist you in finding the right level of care and service you require. In addition, we provide hospital care for common illnesses at MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital, and consult with specialists where surgery or complex care is needed.
MultiCare East Pierce Family Medicine provides you with a personal physician or nurse practitioner who becomes a specialist in your health. Our family physicians also serve as faculty because they are dedicated to training future doctors and to finding better ways to deliver health care services.
Innovative Health care for Today: PATIENT-CENTERED CARE
MultiCare East Pierce Family Medicine provides patient-centered care, meaning that you are the center of your health care. We provide comprehensive and coordinated care, and partner with you to maintain and improve your health. Working with you to ensure that your health care needs are met, means that we:
- Strive to accommodate your schedule and how you choose to access care, including offering same-day appointments and electronic consultations (E-Visits).
- Help you establish health goals and a plan for your care.
- Provide you with a Care Team- consisting of a team of qualified providers who work with your primary care provider to deliver quality care to you.
Office Hours and Appointment Scheduling
Our office is open Monday through Friday 8:30am-12pm, 1:20-5pm.
There are three ways to schedule time in clinic: you can see a nurse for simple visits, like immunizations; you can schedule in advance with your provider by using MyChart or by calling the clinic; or you can call in on the day you would like to be seen and schedule an “Same Day” appointment.
Planned “MyChart” Visits: If you need to plan ahead when scheduling routine care appointments, you can schedule, at your convenience, by logging into MyChart and scheduling your own appointment with your personal provider. Additionally, our staff can assist you in scheduling appointments in advance.
"Same Day" Visits: If you are sick and need to be seen by your provider today, or if you don’t require pre-scheduled routine visits, you can call into the clinic the morning of and be scheduled with your personal provider for that day. (Please note that there are some days that your provider may not be in the office, in which case you would see another member of the team).
Nurse Only Visits: For simple blood pressure, shots, breathing tests, or diabetes nurse visits. Please call the clinic to schedule.
As a MultiCare patient, you’ll have access to MyChart, the free, secure online service that connects you to your doctor’s office. Through MyChart you can request prescription refills, review your health history, look at lab results and more, anytime.
