James Ruf, MD, a board certified orthopedic surgeon, has recently joined MultiCare Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Center at the Covington MultiCare Clinic.

Dr. Ruf received his undergraduate degree from Purdue University in Indiana, and his medical degree from Creighton University in Nebraska. He completed both his general surgery internship and his residency training in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Michigan. He has special expertise in total and partial joint replacement, joint arthroscopy and the surgical treatment of fractures.

Dr. Ruf’s patients are connected to the full resources of MultiCare Health System, one of the few health care organizations in the nation to offer a comprehensive electronic health record system.
