Tacoma General Heart Innovation featured on KING-TV
Percutaneous Ventricular Assist Device now in use

In June 2008, Tacoma General Hospital became among the first hospitals in the nation to use the FDA approved Percutaneous Ventricular Assist Device (Impella 2.5), a mini pump that maintains cardiac circulation during high-risk procedures.
