1 Philip Entrance Change Effective March 1
Hospital access available via 2 Phillip
Beginning March 1, patients will no longer be able to access Tacoma General or Mary Bridge hospitals through the 1 Philip entrance (formerly called 1L).The 1 Philip entrance will become the main entrance for Radiation Oncology at the new MultiCare Regional Cancer Center at Milgard Pavilion. It will be open only to Radiation Oncology patients and Radiation Oncology staff members.
As of March 1, to reach the hospital and emergency departments from the 5th Street Parking Garage, patients and employees can take the elevator inside the garage to 2 Philip (2L) and cross Petersen Plaza to reach the hospital entrance.
Concurrently, Valet Services will move from its current location near 1 Philip to Petersen Plaza.
