MultiCare brings Urgent Care services to Spanaway
MultiCare Health System will open the new MultiCare Spanaway Urgent Care Center on Monday, April 5, bringing much-needed after-hours and urgent care services to the area.
“Adding a new Urgent Care Center gives patients more access to health care services when they need it.,” said Dixi Gerkman, Director of MultiCare Medical Associates Clinic Operations. “We are excited to expand the hours when health care providers are available to help patients close to home.”
The new Urgent Care is located in the same building as MultiCare’s Family Practice and Physical Therapy services. This means patients will be able to access health care services after hours and on weekends or when primary care providers are unavailable.
The urgent care will be staffed by board-certified physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners.
This new location will serve the areas of Parkland, Spanaway, Frederickson, Graham, Roy, East Pierce County and South Tacoma. Adding this location now makes it convenient for patients who previously commuted to the MultiCare Urgent Care in Lakewood.
MultiCare Spanaway Clinic and Urgent Care Center is located at 225 176th St. S. The new Urgent Care Center is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
MultiCare has seven other Urgent Care Clinics including Gig Harbor, Lakewood, University Place, North Tacoma at Westgate, Auburn, Kent and Covington.
