MultiCare offers sports injury clinic in Gig Harbor on Saturdays
Whether you’re a teenage athlete injured in last night’s game or a weekend warrior with a tweaked ankle, your options for sports medicine on the Peninsula just got more convenient thanks to the opening of a weekend Sports Injury Clinic in Gig Harbor.
The MultiCare Orthopedics & Sports Medicine clinic runs from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday mornings through Nov. 10 at MultiCare Gig Harbor Medical Park, 4545 Point Fosdick Drive, Suite 255.
Dr. Mason Platt, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training in sports medicine, will evaluate patients in order of arrival. Dr. Platt will work with athletes to devise a treatment plan, including coordinating with their school trainer if applicable, to get them safely back in the game.
