MultiCare salutes our veterans
In honor of Veterans Day, MultiCare Health System offers veterans our deep respect and appreciation.
Within MultiCare, 729 employees have identified themselves as veterans of the U.S. military, including leaders such as MultiCare President and CEO Diane Cecchettini, RN; Dr. Claire Spain-Remy, Senior Vice President of MultiCare Medical Associates; Dr. Jim Rooks, Medical Director of Tacoma General Hospital; Dr. James Polo, Medical Director of Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital; and Dr. John Lenihan, Medical Director of Minimally Invasive Surgery.
MultiCare has hired more than 100 veterans in 2013, thanks to active veteran outreach efforts. Many long-term employees were hired before veteran status was recorded in our information system.
Thank you to those who served.
