MultiCare to bring new health care services to Bonney Lake
MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital plans to increase health care services offered in Bonney Lake with the construction of a new medical office building.
The new three-story, 58,500-square-foot medical office building will be located near the intersection of South Prairie Road East and Highway 410. Construction will begin in June, and the new facility will open in Summer 2011.
“MultiCare Good Sam takes seriously its mission to provide the best health care possible to all residents of East Pierce County. The unique collaboration of several outstanding Puyallup physician groups joining us in this new medical office building will significantly expand our ability to do just that,” said John Long, President of MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital. “We will bring a variety of needed services to the people of the Bonney Lake area, giving them options close to home.”
The project is a joint effort of MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital; Cogdell Spencer ERDMAN, a national integrated health care facilities company; and community physicians. Good Samaritan Hospital will serve as the anchor tenant offering services including Orthopedics, Physical Therapy, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Internal Medicine, Laboratory Services and Pharmacy.
Other physician services will include: Primary Care, Same-Day Primary Care, Pediatrics, Ophthalmology & Dermatology, Foot and Ankle, and Imaging. Physician group partners will inglude: Sound Family Medicine, Sound Family Medicine Same Day, Woodcreek Healthcare, Cascade Eye & Skin Center, Foot & Ankle Specialists of Bonney Lake and Diagnostic Imaging Northwest.
"Cogdell Spencer ERDMAN is pleased to be a part of this collaborative partnership with MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital and the consortium of physicians that will further advance medical care in Bonney Lake and the surrounding communities for years to come," said Paul Aigner, President of the Northwest Region of Cogdell Spencer ERDMAN.
