MultiCare's Kristopher Kitz honored as one of '40 Under Forty'
Kristopher Kitz, Director of Strategic Planning & Business Development for MultiCare Health System, was honored this week as one of the Business Examiner newspaper's "40 Under Forty."
The award recognizes outstanding South Sound business and community leaders who are younger than 40.
"I am honored to be included in this year’s 40 Under Forty,” Kitz said. “As a whole, this group has impacted change in our community, and it is a privilege to be a part of it."
From 2006 to 2008, Kitz worked on the integration of Good Samaritan Hospital into the broader MultiCare Health System. Since 2009, he has worked on planning for MultiCare Covington Medical Center.
The Business Examiner said honorees represent the diversity and excellence of the South Sound and include those who have made great accomplishments and significant contributions to their businesses, industries and communities.
Kitz and the other "40 Under Forty" honorees celebrated Wednesday at the Foss Waterway Seaport, and will be featured in an issue of the Business Examiner.
In 2011, MultiCare was represented on the "40 Under Forty" list by Dr. Chad Krilich, a Regional Medical Director for MultiCare Medical Associates. Other previous “40 Under Forty” honorees associated with MultiCare include Dr. Christopher Kodama, Jason Adams and Alicia Chapman, as well as Dr. Tariq Salam of the Cardiac Study Center.
