Real people, real photos: Vandy and Katrina
MultiCare Health System uses real, local people in our photos and videos.
Vandy Long and Katrina Roebuck teamed up for an outdoor hiking photo shoot at Steele Lake Park in Federal Way, and their images are now appearing in print.
Vandy has lived in Tacoma all her life, and worked at MultiCare about 10 years. Katrina has lived in Tacoma eight years and just celebrated her 5th anniversary with MultiCare. They work together in MultiCare’s Fawcett Building.
“I love working here,” Vandy said. “A long time ago, when I took my daughter to Mary Bridge, they took very good care of her and were informative about what was going on, and what they could do to help her through this. I love the patient care here, and everybody is nice.”
Katrina said she likes MultiCare’s Healthy@Work program, which encourages fitness. She’s lost more than 40 pounds.
“I like to practice what I preach,” said Katrina, who has taken kick boxing and circuit-training classes. “Anything that gets the message for healthy living out to our community, I’m all for that.”
