"Rock the Foundation" raises money to support MultiCare research
Nearly a half-million dollars was raised for the MultiCare Institute for Research & Innovation, thanks to the generosity of 500 guests at MultiCare Health System's "Rock the Foundation" fundraiser that featured The Doobie Brothers at the Greater Tacoma Convention & Trade Center.
At the MultiCare Institute for Research & Innovation, physicians from MultiCare and throughout the community conduct clinical trials and outcomes-based research with local patients that could improve lives worldwide, from treating stroke to seeking a cure for multiple sclerosis.
With events like Rock the Foundation, the MultiCare Health Foundation helps improve health care for adults and families through philanthropy in support of MultiCare Health System. As a not-for-profit organization based in Tacoma, MultiCare counts on the generous support of people who want to make a difference in the community.
