Tell us about your scrub cap: Seattle Seahawks in the cath lab
In a sea of blue surgical scrubs, the cap is an opportunity to make a personal statement.
Ashley Voelker, a cardiovascular tech in the cardiac cath lab at Tacoma General Hospital, sports a scrub cap representing the Seattle Seahawks.
“It’s part of your id,” Voelker says of his scrub cap. “It’s a way to add your flavor and share your passion.”
In addition to the Seahawks, he has scrub caps representing other Seattle sports teams, such as the Mariners.
“I’m a hometown kid,” Voelker said. “I also have a Sonics cap, so I can wear it when they come back.”
