  The News Tribune: MultiCare Eatonville Clinic to grow at new site

  When people in Eatonville get sick, they don’t have to drive miles away to see a doctor.

  The town of about 2,500 people in the Mount Rainier foothills has a medical clinic that’s packed six days a week. It’s the kind of place where staff members know your name without having to peek at a chart, residents say.

  But it has limitations. It’s crunched for space at 1,500 square feet. Patients have to go elsewhere for X-rays.

  But that’s about to change. The MultiCare clinic is getting a new $1.5 million building a few blocks away, making room for expanded offerings. Construction started in August and is expected to wrap up by spring.
