Lose weight and win big - Pierce County Biggest Winner is back! Sponsored by the MultiCare Center for Healthy Living in partnership with the YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties and the Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department, along with Healthy Communities of Pierce County this year, it is all about Couples so enter this community weight loss competition with a friend, co-worker, spouse – it is up to you!
Teams of two compete to lose weight and exercise in a safe, healthy way. Over $35,000 in individual prizes will be awarded to the top 15 teams with the highest percentage weight lost. But the ultimate prize is a healthier you!
All participants receive:
- Weekly web-based Nutrition Classes with a MultiCare Registered Dietitian
- Fitness Tips from YMCA Health and Well-being Staff
- Cooking tips and recipes
- Roman Meal Sound to Narrows Entry - 5K or 12K walk/run ($35 value)
- Exclusive discounts and promotions on local events and nutrition counseling/screenings
Program Details:
- Teams must register by March 5th!
- Contest runs March 10 – June 1
- Winning teams will be announced on June 8th at the Roman Meal Sound To Narrows (must be present to win)
- Official weigh-ins will be conducted at Pierce County YMCA’s at the start/end of contest (weigh-ins March 6-9; weigh-outs June 2-5; times/locations TBA)
- $80 per participant for 12 week program (less than $7/week – includes Sound to Narrows Registration $35-value)
