She graduated from the University of St Francis in Albuquerque, NM with a master's degree in Physician Assistant studies and completed a general surgery residency at Norwalk/Yale University School of Medicine. Eliza Garza assists the neurosurgeons during operative procedures and manages the post-operative surgical care of patients. Her personal and detail-oriented approach to patient care facilitates the coordinated medical management of our neurosurgery team. When at leisure, she enjoys reading, hiking, travel and the pleasure of her grown children.
