- Practice Philosophy: Dr. Stephen M. Fuson was raised in Tacoma, Washington. After graduating from Washington State University, he completed his medical studies in Podiatry at the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine and performed his residency at Monsignor Clement Kern Hospital for Special Surgery. He began his practice in Tacoma in 1977. He was the founder of the Pacific Podiatry Group, originally known as Pacific Foot and Ankle, which started in 1986. Dr. Fuson sat on the executive and surgical committees for Puget Sound Hospital. Dr. Fuson is also the current residency director at the MultiCare Foot and Ankle Residency at Tacoma Family Medicine. He has many outside interests. He is an avid skier, bicyclist, mountain climber and hiker. He also enjoys playing golf.
