Pulmonary Embolism & Deep Vein Thrombosis Study - Daiichi
Title: DUI 176b-D-U305- A Phase 3, Randomized, Double-Blind, Double-Dummy, Parallel Group, Multi-Center, Multi-National study for the evaluation of efficacy and safety of (LMW) heparin/edoxaban versus (LMW) heparin/warfin in subjects with symptomatic deep-vein thrombosis and/or pulmonary embolism.
Purpose: This study compares Warfarin to Edoxaban in the treatment of symptomatic DVT and PE. Patients are treated with either Edoxaban or standard therapy with LMW transitioned to Warfarin.
Who Can Participate?
Diagnosis or Condition: Newly diagnosed or recurrent PE-Pulmonary Embolus andor DVT-deep vein thrombosis
Age: 18 yrs or older
Sex: Males and Females
Visits: Minimum of 3 months – Maximum of 12 months
Stipend: You will be compensated for your time and travel
