Gig Harbor's First Medical Oncology Clinic

MultiCare is proud to offer Gig Harbor’s first medical oncology clinic, providing residents with vital services close to home. The clinic provides chemotherapy, therapeutic infusions, blood transfusions, education and support to cancer patients and families.

In addition to an oncologist and physician assistant, this clinic is staffed with a full time pharmacist, and specialized nursing staff providing the most advanced cancer care in our own community. Oncology services at MultiCare Gig Harbor Medical Park are an extension of the MultiCare Regional Cancer Center at Tacoma General Hospital.

Radiation Oncology

As the first comprehensive cancer care facility in Gig Harbor, we've expanded our services to include radiation oncology. This is great news for cancer patients whose treatment plan includes radiation. Instead of crossing the bridge for days and weeks, you can get all of your actual treatments right here in the comfort and convenience of your own community.

Rapid Arc Radiotherapy Technology

MultiCare Gig Harbor Medical Park offers Rapid Arc radiation treatment. The Rapid Arc radiotherapy technology from Varian Medical Systems is a fast form of precise radiotherapy that targets tumors quickly and accurately while minimizing exposure of surrounding healthy tissue. What would normally take about 10 minutes can be done in 90 seconds Often times, the patient experiences less side effects than traditional radiation therapy.
