MultiCare Inpatient Specialists (MIS) have been enthusiastic supporters of clinical research since the program began. The Hospitalist team has conducted clinical studies in such diverse therapeutic areas as:- Pyelonephritis
- Acute stroke
- Treatment of Acute Deep Venous Thrombosis and Pulmonary Emboli
- Pneumonia
- Skin Infections
- Clostridium difficile Infections
- Deep Venous Thrombosis Prevention
