Surgery

The MultiCare Institute for Research & Innovation has partnered with surgeons in the community including both employed physicians and physicians in independent practice. Our surgery studies have included clinical trials in the following indications:

• Bowel Resections (Pain Management and Prevention of Infections)
• Hemorrhoid Surgeries (Pain Management)
• Hysterectomies (Pain Management, Prevention of Infection and Prevention of post-operative nausea.)
• Thoracotomies (Prevention of pain)
