The Ride
COURAGE CLASSIC
AUGUST 7-9, 2010
The Courage Classic Bicycle Tour is a fully supported event that provides everything you need along the way:
-
Rotary Rider Service Centers every 15-20 miles!
-
Tasty meals; breakfast, summit lunches and dinner each day!
-
Campsites with guaranteed hot showers will be set up by noon each day!
-
UPS will transport your gear for you and deliver to the campsite by noon or to your hotel by 2 pm each day!
-
Mechanics from Old Town Bicycle, to help with those mechanical incidences along the way!
-
SAG wagons and First Aid support on course and Sports Medicine provided at finish of each day!
-
Check-in each day at the summit and the finish!
The Courage Classic Bicycle Tour is a ride, not a race, so take your time, enjoy the scenery, make new friends and take advantage of our Rotary Rider Service Centers along the way. If you arrive at the finish line before noon on any day, you will not have the amenities that we have provided, available to you.
A tremendous amount of logistics and operations planning has gone into the design of the Courage Classic Bicycle Tour. We ask all participants to follow the designated route at all times and comply with directions of staff at all times for your own safety and the integrity of the event.
At the end of the ride on Monday we will transport you and your bicycle back to Snoqualmie. You and your luggage will be transported on buses and your bicycle will be carried on a truck following behind your bus.
