Other Services from WIC

WIC provides checks for approx. $50 worth of healthy foods for each participant monthly.

In addition, WIC provides the following services:

• Nutrition education in both individual and group formats (including classes for children)
  
  
• Free visits with a registered dietitian for certain medical or nutritional concerns (all locations)
  
  
• Breastfeeding education and support by trained staff
  
  
• Free visits with a certified lactation consultant (at some locations)
  
  
• Free breast pumps for breastfeeding pairs that meet established criteria
  
  
• Immunizations available at some sites (see MultiCare Immunization Clinic or Children's Mobile Immunization Clinic for schedules)
