Each year our cardiothoracic surgeons perform hundreds of procedures, from minimally invasive surgeries of the lungs and chest to endovascular procedures and mechanical support of the heart.
Meet our cardiothoracic surgeons
Charles Anderson, MD, is board-certified in general and cardiothoracic surgery. A graduate of Creighton University, he completed a general surgical internship and residency at Tripler Army Medical Center, a cardiothoracic residency at the University of Tennessee and a fellowship in cardiac transplant, heart failure and mechanical assistance at Ochsner Clinic Foundation.Allen Graeve, MD, is board-certified in general and cardiothoracic surgery. He received his medical degree from Creighton University and completed a general surgical internship and residency at the University of New Mexico Hospitals in Albuquerque. Dr. Graeve completed a cardiothoracic residency and fellowship at the University of Tennessee and the Medical College of Virginia, respectively.
Dennis D. Nichols, MD—the newest member of this stellar team—is board-certified in general and thoracic surgery, a graduate of Pacific Lutheran University, and a former Fulbright scholar. His medical degree comes from Uniformed Services University in Bethesda, Md., and his training includes a general surgical residency and internship at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu and a residency in cardiothoracic surgery at the University of Tennessee.
