A joint annual fundraising event presented on Saturday, June 27 by the Puyallup Fair and Good Samaritan Foundations, Northwest Corks & Crush blends fine Northwest wines, classic and unique automobiles, coveted auction lots, and extraordinary community members. Join 19 Northwest wineries for a tasting, dinner and live auction. Following the auction, stay and dance the night away to the rollicking tunes of Shelley & the Curves! Beneficiaries:
Good Samaritan’s Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department -Funds raised from the 2009 Northwest Corks & Crush will fund cutting-edge technology to assist recovery for patients with traumatic brain injury.
Puyallup Fair Foundation’s Scholarship Program & Traveling Farm – Funds raised from the 2009 Northwest Corks & Crush will continue to support the Puyallup Fair‘s scholarship program, including two viticulture scholarships, as well as the creation of a Traveling Farm. The highly successful scholarship program has awarded $516,500 to 212 of our area’s students. The Traveling Farm will bring agricultural education to grade schools at no cost to school districts or students.
Golf Classic
Celebrating twenty years of golf for a cause on Friday, July 24, this scramble-format tournament always boasts a full field and lots of fun. Contests include putting and hole in one.

Cost: Early Bird Registration $200 per person, $700 per foursome (by May 15)
Standard Registration $225 per person, $800 per foursome (after May 15)
Beneficiary: Children’s Therapy Unit (CTU) is a truly unique facility in our community. Its comprehensive, multi-disciplinary treatment model allows children with developmental disabilities to discover their possibilities. Here, children receive unparalleled care from speech, physical and occupational therapies, psychological services and highly individualized services such as Orthotics, Assistive Technology, and Movement Analysis and Research – all found in one building. CTU pediatric specialists treat the whole child, focusing not only on physical skills and developmental milestones, but also on developing self confidence and achieving levels of independence that otherwise would not be possible.
Tis the Season 
The cornerstone of Good Samaritan’s fundraising events, Tis the Season is Friday, November 20 and presents guests an opportunity to do their holiday shopping with fabulous silent auction items staged among festive greenery while dining on mini-meals. Known for great conversation and fellowship, Tis the Season is Puyallup’s favorite holiday event. A live auction and Fund-A-Need appeal are also part of the evening’s program.
