Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation
As part of our Outpatient Program at Good Samaritan Hospital, we offer comprehensive spinal cord injury rehabilitation.
The program is staffed by rehabilitation physicians, nurses, physical and occupational therapists, and therapeutic recreation specialists.
This team gives each client a thorough assessment and designs a rehabilitation program specifically for his or her needs. Therapy may include instruction in strength training, skin care and help learning new ways to perform daily activities. We’ll also help each client reach personal goals such as enhancing family relationships, resuming parenting duties, going back to school or work, or resuming favorite recreational activities.
Our goal is to help each client adapt to his or her injury and safely reach the highest level of independence possible.
For more information about spinal cord injury rehabilitation or to make a referral, call 253-697-5192.
