The MultiCare Research Institute has partnered with surgeons in the community including both employed physicians and physicians in independent practice. Our surgery studies have included clinical trials in the following indications:

• Bowel Resections (Pain Management and Prevention of Infections)
• Hemorrhoid Surgeries (Pain Management)
• Hysterectomies (Pain Management, Prevention of Infection and Prevention of post-operative nausea.)
• Thoracotomies (Prevention of pain)
